Ingredients
1 lb ground beef (85/15 lean)
12 oz pasta shells or penne
1 cup heavy cream
4 tablespoons butter
6 cloves fresh garlic, minced
1 medium yellow onion, diced
2½ cups beef broth
¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat
Add ground beef, cook until browned (5-7 minutes), breaking up with spoon
Add onion and garlic, cook until fragrant (2-3 minutes)
Add pasta, broth, and Italian seasoning; bring to a boil
Reduce heat to medium, simmer 12-15 minutes until pasta is tender
Stir in butter, cream, and Parmesan cheese
Season with salt and pepper, garnish with parsley
