Description

A rich, creamy one-pot pasta dish combining seasoned ground beef with tender pasta in a luxurious garlic butter cream sauce. Perfect for busy weeknights when you want maximum flavor with minimum cleanup.


Ingredients

1 lb ground beef (85/15 lean)

12 oz pasta shells or penne

1 cup heavy cream

4 tablespoons butter

6 cloves fresh garlic, minced

1 medium yellow onion, diced

2½ cups beef broth

¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 teaspoons Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped


Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat

  2. Add ground beef, cook until browned (5-7 minutes), breaking up with spoon

  3. Add onion and garlic, cook until fragrant (2-3 minutes)

  4. Add pasta, broth, and Italian seasoning; bring to a boil

  5. Reduce heat to medium, simmer 12-15 minutes until pasta is tender

  6. Stir in butter, cream, and Parmesan cheese

  7. Season with salt and pepper, garnish with parsley

Notes

  • Don’t skip browning the beef – it creates essential flavor
  • Pasta water should be mostly absorbed when done
